Teddy Bear Toy Knitted Circular

Leg: Make 2

With body color, T0, 10 needles main bed and 10 needles ribber, pitch H, knit across (zigzag row)

Hang a 7 weight and a large ribber weight.

T6. Change to circular knitting. Knit 16 rows. Change to pants color, knit 40 rows.

Change to waste yarn, knit about 16 rows. Take off machine.

Arm: Make 2

With body color, T0, 8 needles main bed and 8 needles ribber, pitch H, knit across (zigzag row)

Hang a 7 weight at a large ribber weight.

T6. Change to circular knitting. Knit 12 rows. Change to T-shirt color, knit 28 rows.

Change to waste yarn, knit about 16 rows. Take off machine.

Head and Body

With body color, T0, 20 needles main bed and 20 needles ribber, pitch H, knit across (zigzag row).

Hang a short comb or two 7 weights and a large ribber weight.

T6. Change to circular knitting, knit 34 rows. (head)

Change to T-shirt color, knit 28 rows. (chest)

Change to pants color, knit 24 rows. (lower abdomen)

Change to waste yarn, knit 16 rows.

Finishing

Legs: Tie the ends, and pull to inside. Stuff. Sew the top of the leg by rolling waste yarn to outside, squeezing flat, and whipping through last round of stitches across the top of each leg.

Arms: Finish same as legs.

Head: Using body color yarn, and a running stitch, sew across a triangle each side of head to form ears. Embroider on a face. Use a running stitch tied off on the side to gather slightly at the neck and form round face. Stuff.

Body: Stuff, close at bottom same as legs and arms.

Sew on legs and arms.
